Programs
Comprehensive community engagement process to create a master plan for Franklin Avenue from the Light Rail Corridor to the Mississippi River.
The City of Minneapolis granted $25,000 to provide matching funds for businesses and building owners along Franklin Avenue. Seward Redesign is administering the program.
Philanthopy and Community Engagement
SCCA believes in contributing to the greater good in the community. SCCA often facilitates contributions from individual businesses to support important neighborhood causes. SCCA supports neighborhood groups and event, such as King’s Fair and the Seward Peace Garden.
Public Policy
SCCA speaks as a united voice to elected and government officials. It advocates for the best interest of its memebers. SCCA has worked on the following issues:
