Meet & Greet Your Councilmembers

Seward Civic and Commerce Association

Thursday, January 21, 2016

12 – 1:15 pm

Chef Shack Restaurant

3025 East Franklin Ave

Join us for lunch at Chef Shack on Thursday, January 21st to meet Seward’s city council representatives. Abdi Warsame and Cam Gordon represent the Seward neighborhood. This will be an informal gathering giving you the opportunity to connect with the officials who represent you at the city – and we all know what a huge impact city policies can have on our businesses. Among other updates, we’ll hear a brief overview from Cam about the proposed “Bring Your Own Bag” ordinance, which would eliminate single use carry-out plastic bags and allow retailers to charge a five-cent fee for paper bags.

Chef Shack will have vegetarian and carnivore options available for $10. Come and get to know your fellow Seward businesses!

Please RSVP on Eventbrite in advance so we can plan for an appropriate amount of food.
